　　众所周知，随着社会对人才要求的日益提高，教育改革的不断深化，如何提高学生外语基础水平和语言运用能力已成为学校素质教育的突破口和关键所在。　　上海这一国际化大都市近年来在使用国内版本教材（如上海版、全国版、《新世纪英语》）的同时，还引进了如牛津、剑桥、朗文等各种版本的国外教材。无论是使用语言情景贴近生活的新教材，还是使用传统的语法条理分明的老教材，外语教学都被时代赋予了新的理念、新的要求，以及将会由此带来的新的教学方法。诸如如何把新的语言教学材料与传统教学模式有机结合起来等一系列的问题，给不少试点学校的老师和学生带来了诸多困惑和挑战。　　复旦附中沈良金备课组是一个老中青三代结合，有着较强学术氛围的集体。多年来，他们精诚合作，互帮互学，一直在英语教学的第一线积极探索、实践着。他们结合各种版本的英语教材，博采众长，突出重点，并根据本校学生的特点，对英语的教学内容进行编排、扩充，精心设计了大量培养语言功底的活动和练习，旨在培养学生语言的综合运用能力，做到学以致用。　　为了满足广大师生教与学的需要，我们现将沈良金备课组在教学研究上的原始资料进行重新加工，精心编撰，汇集成册，与广大的教育界同仁和学生交流切磋.希望能开拓出一条切实可行的英语教学新思路。
