This book is aimed to present an overall summary of the environmental situations in the surrounding areas of China'snuclear facilities in such a manner as to collect a wealth of research results in the three decades since the founding of China's nuclear industry.Emphases are placed on describing the models and parameters used in assessing environmental quality,environmental background radiation levels in China and the work of environmental quality assessments carried out at various systems of the nuclear industry.In addition,a comprehensive overview is made of the environmental quality in the areas surrounding the nuclear facilities for the three decades,with projections made of the potential impacts upon environmental quality that would be created in the future development of nuclear energy.    This book includes a flood of data and materials that were credible and valuable in supporting our efforts to achieve our initiatives.So it could be safely said that it is of great value in academy and practice.It is hoped that this publication be of great help in promotion of the development of both nuclear energy and environmental science.This bookshould be useful for those who are involved in the sectors of nuclear and other energies,environmental science,radiation protection and nuclear technique applications and for university teachers and students majoring nuclear energy and environmental engineering.

  1936年6月1日出生。核辐射防护专家。湖南益阳人。1957年北京大学技术物理系毕业。历任原子能研究所实习研究员、助理研究员、副研究员、研究室副主任、主任、研究员,核工业部安防环保卫生局副局长、局长,中国核工业总公司安防
