  In Pragmatics, the study of meaning derived from context, Jean Stilwell Peccei offers a practical introduction to this core area of linguistics. 作者简介

  Jean Stilwell Peccei is Senior Research Fellow and Visiting Lecturer at the Roehampton Instiute London. She is the author of Child Language (2nd edn 1999)and co-author of Language, Society and Power(1999).
