　　《报刊英语教程》一书旨在介绍阅读英文报刊的方法，帮助读者较快地获得和提高阅读英文报刊的能力。     本书着重介绍阅读技巧，内容包括怎样浏览报刊，怎样读懂新闻标题，怎样理解新闻导语，具体指导读者如何找出文章的重要细一节，如何猜测词义，如何批判性地阅读新闻。书末的词汇表对英文报刊上常见的词语作了注释。每个章节的后面都配有练习，书末附有参考答案。
