•   VanderWaerden的《代数学》第一卷和第二卷的第一版于1930-1931年分别出版.自出版后,这本书对于近世代数学的传播和发展起了巨大的推动作用.现在的《代数学》第一卷已经出到第七版,第二卷出到第五版.其中第一卷可以直接用作代数学的很好的入门教材,第二卷可用于进一步学习.本书的涉及面广,篇幅却不大,的确是经典数学教材.
•   几代数学人的课本，精品啊。可惜的是中译本目前市场上买不到了。
•   van der Waerden在写第一版时是在ZFC下，因为用到了选择公理，这受到很多逻辑学者和构造主义者、直觉主义者的不满，于是在第二版时van der Waerden去掉了选择公理，在ZF下改写该书，使得该书的大部分内容被删去了，这一做法又受到了很多代数学家的不满。第三版时van der Waerden又重新在ZFC下写该书，因为他认为自己是一名代数学家。对纯粹数学工作者而言没有选择公理的世界是不可想象的。

•   这书的中文版科学啥时候重印
•   数很经典,据说培养了中国几代代数学家,他写的代数几何引论刚好也被科学社翻译出版了
•   早就该影印了
•   印刷还可以，具体内容还没看
•   不懂数学 不懂英文代买
•   书很好,就是纸张很差,世图的书纸张越来越差了
•   字有些模糊，不如期望中的世界图书出版社的质量
