内容概要

《珠宝专业英语》是宝玉石及其鉴定、加工、商贸、文化等方面的专业英语教材。涵盖了宝石学科各方面的内容，包括宝石的概念与分类、宝石的光学性质、宝石的力学性质、宝石的鉴定仪器、宝石的合成、宝石的优化处理、宝石包裹体、宝石的鉴定步骤、宝石的加工、部分珍贵宝石(钻石、红宝石与蓝宝石、祖母绿、珍珠、翡翠)的宝石学特征和宝石商贸等内容。全书共有16课，内容相互独立，每课包括珠宝销售对话、专业词汇训练、关键短句、短文、课文、词汇表和练习题，宝石各论的几课后还附有与课文内容相关的阅读材料。本教材参考英文书刊和专业网站编写，内容丰富、题材广泛、语言流畅、文字活泼、图文并茂，具有较强的可读性。
使用过程中可根据具体教学或学习情况做适当取舍。参考学时数为60～80
学时。
 本书光盘中附有注音标的专业词汇，以方便学习过程中直接使用。
