章节摘录

It then travels straight up along the back of the medial side of the leg to the external genitalia. Traveling along the surface of abdomen, it ascends into the supraclavicular fosse. It ascends adjacent to the Adam's apple, ending in the inner cantus, where it communicates with the Yangqiao mai. The Yangqiao mai originates at the heel and travels upward along the back of the body. It ascends along the external alveolus and up the lateral side of the leg. At the inner cantus it communicates with the Yinqiao mai. It continues upward to the forehead, following the Urinary bladder meridian of foot-toying. It terminates at the nape of the neck, where it meets the Gallbladder meridian of foot-shaoyang. They govern the movement of the lower extremities. Both meridians nourish the eyes, control their opening and closing. There is an old saying that "Yinqiao and Yangqiao are in charge of Yin and Yang of either side of the body respectively." ……
