内容概要

《中国对外经贸国家概况》一书的编写宗旨在于让学生了解中国对外经贸来往中主要贸易国家的社会文化概况、经济贸易发展概况以及对华贸易概况，以帮助学生毕业后更好地与就业岗位接轨。本书侧重突出该国特色文化以及经济贸易情况，尤其强调经济贸易数据，从一定程度上填补了国内相关教材的空白，能更好地满足新时期经济快速发展背景下英语专业教学和国际贸易专业教学的需要。同时，也考虑到社会人士了解世界各国风土人情、教育旅游资源以及经济贸易发展情况的需要。本书适用于以下人员：(1)高职高专院校英语专业学生；(2)本科或专科院校国际贸易专业学生；(3)从事外经贸工作的相关人员；(4)其他有需要的人士(如劳务输出人员、出国人员等)。
《中国对外经贸国家概况》按经济区来划分单元，依序为：北美、南美、非洲、中东、东亚、南亚和东南亚、东欧、西欧、北欧和大洋洲，共十个单元，每单元下设2～4个具有区域代表性的国家。全书可供1～2个学期使用，以2个学期为佳，每学期建议安排36～72学时，每周2—4学时。在编写过程中我们力争做到图文并茂，趣味性和实用性相结合。每单元下设“教学目标”、“课前热身”、“单元简介”以及本单元代表性国家的社会历史、文化教育、饮食特色、名胜古迹、经济贸易发展概况以及该国对华贸易概况。每个国家的概况后附有生词表，书后附录中还提供了各国国旗、国徽以及各国主要贸易港口。此外，为便于检测学习效果，本书还配有一定量的课后练习及其参考答案，供师生使用，欢迎向出版社索取。

　　Nigeria is a Federal Republic modeled after the United States，with executive powerexercised by the president and with influences from the Westminster System model in thecomposition and management of the upper and lower houses of the bicameral legislature.However，the President of Nigeria is both head of state and head of government，and of amulti-party system.Nigerian politics takes place within a framework of a federal，presidential，representative democratic republic，whereby executive power is exercised by the government.Legislative power is vested in both the government and the two chambers of the legislature，the House of Representatives and the Senate.Together the two chambers make up the law-making body in Nigeria called the National Assembly.The highest judiciary arm ofgovernment in Nigeria is the Supreme Court of Nigeria.Nigeria also practices Baron deMontesquieu’S theory of the separation of powers.The National Assembly serves as a checkon the executive arm of government.2.1.2.1.3 People and Environment Nigeria is made up of three large ethnic groups——the Hausa-Fulani，Yoruba，and IgbO-who represent 70％of the population.Another 10％comprises of several other groupsnumbering more than 1 million members each，including the Kanuri，Tiv，and Ibibio.Morethan 300 smaller ethnic groups account for the remaining 20％of the population.However，these groups are similar in nature，thus melting all the boundaries to become a huge group.Most Nigerians speak more than one language.The country’S official language，English，iswidely spoken，especially among educated people.Apart from English，400 native Nigerianlanguages are also spoken，out of which some are being threatened with extinction.　　Nigeria’S Delta region，home of the large Oil industry，experiences serious oil spills andother environmental problems.Waste management including sewage treatment，the linkedprocesses of deforestation and soil degradation，and climate change or global warming are themajor environmental problems in Nigeria. 　　……
